Bullet from Las Vegas shooting passed through man, stuck in wallet

Doctors told the man if he were hit at a slightly different angle, the bullet could have hit his femoral artery or his spine.

The bullet ripped through cash and cards and lodged inside the billfold.

Once thought to be a photo of women fighting fires at Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941, this photograph was found to NOT be from the day the U.S. joined World War II - but was most likely a snap of a training exercise.

Thank you to Don Cooper for setting it straight (see his link below).

This also doesn't take away that many women helped on that infamous morning and throughout the day. Many sailors, soldiers, Marines, and America owe much to the nurses and women on that day.

JAN 67 frozen waste of Ft Campbell I was the Co. Guidon the guy out front was Adams areal red hillbilly prick, he was roadguard with the big light baton, we had sletp from 0200 till 0400hrs at which time we unrapped our blankets & half shelters, got up picked up forumed up & marched 5 miles to the grenade range, in the dark, when we got to the range we broke up & waited for the sun rise , I was sittin on a log facein Adams(prick) he was sittin on a log facin me , the the beautiful sun b egan to rise, I lookin down, I could see Adams(prick) had put his left boot on his right foot & his right boot on his left foot. I was amused.
