ZOO KID TURNED MARINE LIFE ADVOCATE:
Bishop Lynch High School sophomore Mary Katherine Futrell first fell in love with marine life when she was 6 years old and met Mango, an African penguin, during Dallas Zoo summer camp. Through her hands-on experiences at camp, she was moved to help save wildlife, which inspired her Girl Scout Gold Award project to raise awareness on sunscreen coral bleaching.

We recently welcomed Mary Katherine out to our affiliated Children's Aquarium at Fair Park where she taught guests about certain sunscreens that are killing our beloved coral reefs. Learn more about her awesome ReefLove project: bit.ly/2BIRmR2

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Make your way to the Dallas Arboretum for the opening weekend of Dallas Blooms, presented by IBERIABANK. Then be sure to head to the Rory Meyers Children's Adventure Garden for a grand re-opening.

Get your children ready for a world of international travel and adventure with the Children's Adventure Garden's last at-home activity of the winter!

When explorers go on adventures, they take a map to show them the way. Let's learn to read a map! Maps show places as a bird sees them from the sky (birds'-eye view). Everything looks smaller and flat from high up the air; maps look the same way! A map can show a small place-like a backyard, or gigantic place-like the whole Earth!

Now that you're thought about maps, it's time to make your own.

Also this is pre-road course in the infield... I can see me from here though... ;)

Look at all those backstretch seats!

I know it's relatively new, but I can't imagine a race without watching the pre-race and live shots on Big Hoss.

Sweet! Love this aerial/birdseye view of my Hometrack! Miss the Backstretch seats!

No condos either.

Most importantly...vote Democrat.

CONNIE WHAT AGENDA DOES THE DEMOCRAPS HEVE BUT RAISE YOUR TAXES AND TAKE AWAY YOUR MEANS OF PROTECTION. AND H YEAH MAKE YOU BUY SOME CRAPPY HEALTH INS.

I’d be safer without AK 47s being sold at Walmart. Abbot- shill for gun lobby. Remember in November!

Yeah right vote Democrat so we can turn Texas in to Detroit Michigan so it'll look like a third world country like the Democrats have done in Detroit or Chicago where we have about 5 kids shot per day everyday all right show me one city that is a success story with Democrats running it! Show me one city that is successful! Just one! And don't say California where the governor is a cocaine snorting fiend hell my friend at the state inspection station South of Austin has been inspecting three California cars every day for 6 months! People are getting the hell out of that place!

How high is the water momey.? Up to the muzzle of my AR 15 child

Straight ticket for first time in my life, Republican!

Mostly he is saying Is to keep your powder dry

Thoughts and prayers? Called your office today to ask your plan against gun violence. She said that you are against violence. Good to know. Really going out on that limb?

I’m staying inside where it is nice and warm, except to go outside to check on farm animals.

Thanks for sharing inclement weather alert ,team Governor Greg Abbott.

Should we go to the Walmarts in West Texas , or to the train station ??

Thank you --there is --Rain -standing -water on --side -walk & School Children --whom --walk to --School--they are having a problem .

Go, Gov............thanks.

I'm not crazy stephen i will never vote Democrate they are evil..

Amen!

Let me tell you people something right now that you may not know if you go to Dearborn Michigan right now you can't read any of the Billboards! Because they're all in Arabic that's right Arabic and there are speakers all over the town that call to Allah everyday 5 times! Dearborn Michigan USA is a Muslim City right under your nose!
