SAT Efforts Pay Off in Customer Satisfaction

The survey found that 92% of passengers departing from SAT rated their overall satisfaction as either Excellent or Good – the two highest ratings. Among passengers arriving to SAT, an unprecedented 99% rated their overall satisfaction as Excellent or Good.

“Customer experience is one of our highest priorities at SAT – from landside to planeside and beyond, the experience and customer service our passengers receive throughout the terminals is paramount,” said Karen W. SAT Efforts Pay-off in Passenger Growth

In what is beginning to be a favorable trend, SAT has yet again set records with its October 2017 passenger statistics.

A continued increase in demand has led to SAT’s sixteenth consecutive month of record-breaking growth. In October, SAT saw 803,667 passengers – a remarkable increase of 8.7% from October 2016 – and the largest passenger totals for any month of October on record. Year to date, SAT has served 7,468,817 passengers, yet another record, for a 4.5% increase compared to this time in 2016.

“Since the Spring of 2016, we have announced 20 new flights at SAT which in turn contributes to the growth in passengers at the airport,” said Russ Handy, Aviation Director for the City of San Antonio. “Additionally, we have an aggressive air service development team and a proactive strategic communications team that work together to heighten awareness of SAT, San Antonio, and the surrounding region, and it has not gone unnoticed by air carriers.”
