They have a spotter and a team of doctors whose job it is to watch these players and evaluate for injuries. The head coach is coaching. This was a fail by the medical team, not Obrien!!! Hope Savage is ok.

If any of you were actually at the stadium you would know that the play wasnโ€™t replayed on the big screen. The only view that OB would have had was in real-time. And the play happened in the end zone. I doubt he could even see the hit. Only the results of the player on the ground. The ref stood over Savage and didnโ€™t call for the medical team. Savage got up by himself and went to the bench unassisted. Canโ€™t blame the coach on this one. He has to rely on the system and the others that are supposed to be watching to give him the correct info. I donโ€™t believe he was told that Savage had a concussion until after the next possession. Fault anyone else but the coach on this one.

I donโ€™t believe for a second that the coaches knew he may have a concussion and let him play. Thatโ€™s just ridiculous on so many levels.

Wasn't one of the main points of having league doctors handle the protocol to take the decision making away from the team and it's doctors?

I cain't believe all the people who are hating on O'Brien. The whole thing with Savage was terribly miss handled, no doubt. But that's not just on the coach. And idk how many have actually been on the sidelines during a game, but it's a VERY different view than up in the stands. All that he's accomplished in his time in Houston with a bunch of mediocre at best QB's is a testament to his coaching. Now that we've finally got a star in the making I personally would be excited to see what they could do together. Loosing sucks, but this season has been crazy on the injury front, coach can't control that.

Someone dropped the ball BIGTIME! Savage could have been really hurt and may be down the road. It was as bad as when Case Keenum got hurt.

Where the hell were the refs that were right there motioning for team medical staff when it seemed he may have been convulsing in a seizure?

This man had a Grand Mal Seizure on live TV in front of millions of people and yall trying to tell me all them 300 people on the sideline laughing, playing and wasting another year and season didn't see him on the ground for at least 2 minutes with two refs hovering over him ? Stop insulting all these people and NFL fans intelligence ! Yall phucked up, fest up to your mistake, coughing up blood on the side lines, wow ๐Ÿ˜ณ!

What are peopleโ€™s problems with this coaching staff? This accusation is false and anyone with half a brain would know that by looking at the facts.

Well then who is ultimately responsible for what happened to the quarterback? Who failed in this situation?

How is everybody in TV Land seen Tom Savage having a seizure. The people at the game, on the 50-yard line missed it?

I haven't heard why they decided to take him out after putting him back in!? Did something happen in between?

He said himself that if he would have seen it , he would not have let him back in. It replayed enough. Might be better if he would look at the screen sometimes, then he could see what is going on.

What? I came here to find out who the interim coach was, how could this be? This guy's a total loser with a long list of excuses. Don't forget, he's the same coach who said Tom Savage was his best QB on opening day.

Have you fired the team Doctor yet?

The treatment team should be fired. Period.

The NFL needs to disband and go away replaced by a new NFL reflecting American values and culture.

O'BRIEN you need to go learn how to coach or pack your bags and go

Thatโ€™s why Tom Savage was not allowed back after the head shot/seizure...Oh wait! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„

The NFL Concussion Protocol is going to get one of these players killed one day.

Houston fans have to be the dumbest I've ever seen

Looks like the league Dr.โ€™s missed some signs, until they saw the replay.

Then watch the big screen.

It's a possibility Savage has had a concussion for 3 weeks...not 1 coach would know

I blame the refs that were near him. They need training for visual signs of concussions.

Meet Tuna! (A1015964)

The first thing you should know about him is he is an active dude who loves running around a yard, playing tug of war and chewing on toys. He would enjoy going for walks or jogs with you and having a room or yard to play with many soft and rubber chew toys. He is around two years old and weighs 53 pounds.

We are looking ahead to a great 2018 for the animals of Dallas, encouraged by the numbers coming out of our November 2017 shelter and field reports.

We're thrilled to announce DAS has an 83.9% live release rate for the month of November, the highest all time for our shelter.

1,129 animals were adopted from DAS in November, a 24% increase from the same time period last year.
Redemptions increased by an amazing 147%, and animals going to rescue increased by 9%.

While we took in 15% more animals than this time last year, including 41% more dogs impounded from the field, our euthanasia decreased by 40%.

We are grateful to our hard-working staff, as well as the wonderful animal loving community in Dallas that has helped us get to this point. With your help, we will keep getting better and better!

This is exactly what we were looking for when we adopted our boy Otis from DAS. Heโ€™s a ball of energy and the friendliest dog anyone could ever ask for.
